Not sure why it's rated so bad. Maybe they have new ownership?? Who knows. My family goes there at least 1 or 2 times a month and we love it! Even our kids enjoy going there (ages 3 and 5). So that should say something. The food is always fresh and hot, service is wonderful and the atmosphere is great!

The food here is so bad it is no wonder they call it 7 monkey's. When they first opened we thought to ourselves "what a stupid name" but we tried it anyways because we live in the neighborhood. The food is bad and the service is even worse. I have heard rumors lately that they are going to be closing soon.

For starters the name is pretty ridiculous. I ended up here because one of my clients has a business close by and we were on a tight schedule so he suggested we go here? I tried to be polite but throughout the entire time we were here I kept wondering why anyone in Omaha would support someplace like this. Our server spent most of her time chatting with the bartender and a couple of regulars that were bellied up to the bar. Other than that, we were about the only ones in the restaurant. Our food came out after what seemed like at least 20 minutes. Everything was cold which meant that our food probably sat in the window while our server forgot about us and obviously no one in the kitchen cared enough to bring the food out themselves. We finished our meal and finally had to go to the bar to pay our tab. After we left I asked my client why he chose this place to go and he replied that it was close. I guess if that is the only or best reason someone would have to go here pretty well sums everything else up.

As bad as both the food and service was, one would certainly believe that both were handled by a band of monkey's. They could not even get a bottle of beer right. My guess is that their coolers don't work very well.
