Dedicated in 1977, Gerald R Ford Birthplace & Garden stands as a memorial to the 38th president of the United States, born in Omaha in 1913. Though the three-story Victorian home where Ford was born was razed after a fire in the early 70s, the site features a partial replica of the home as well as a Ford's birth documents and a formal rose garden, dedicated to First Lady Betty Ford. This historic site is located on the edge of Hanscom Park, adjacent to the Gerald R. Ford Conservation Center in midtown.
